DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:

This tattoo was inspired by a request sent by Mikael, who wanted a tattoo for protection on the sea.

The turtle represents here the navigator, and the general shape recalls a manta to symbolize beauty and freedom.

The two opposite tikis on the manta wings are protection symbols, like Mjolnir, the hammer of Thor, the Norse god of thunder, which we integrated in relation to the origins of Mikael and of his ancestors, whose initials (VMM) make the central triquetra.

Waves represent continuity in change, and the shark teeth are for strength and adaptability.
