DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:

The basis for this tattoo is the Mayan glyph "Lamat", about which you can find more infos here, and which is often used to signify learning to love or, in older times, vitality and rebirth, sharing many analogies with the celtic triskell symbol.

In this design, the idea of love and rebirth is strengthened by the turtle pattern, which symbolizes fertility and family.

This design was inspired by a request from Laura.
