DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:

Koi is the Japanes name of the carp. The carp is one of the most valued symbols in the Eastern cultures, and many legends are told about it. The carp is said to swim against the stream, and when caught, it faces the knife without shivering. Mainly on account of these reasons it´s a symbol of courage and of the power to overcome difficulties in order to achieve one´s goals.
