DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:

Natalia requested this tattoo to go all along her backbone, from the nape downwards.
The whole design is about family, freedom, prosperity, protection and beauty.

From top to bottom the elements we used are a sunmoon and a tiki (duality and impossible that becomes possible, protection and fertility), frangipani flowers (femininity and beauty, safe shelter), birds and waves (help granted to the loved ones through every change), turtle and lizard (family and good luck).

Lower, fish hooks are a wish for prosperity and wealth, and the shell symbolizes intimacy and love, which is at the base of it all.

finally the book to understand and create Polynesian tattoos!

That´s a great idea and the book looks fab. I wish there were more animal outlines though... - TatFan, Denver
