Phoenix

DESCRIZIONE E SIGNIFICATO:

In western culture the phoenix is a symbol of eternity and rebirth. Matteo requested this Polynesian styled phoenix with long tails extending onto his shoulder.

To create it we used several motifs, such as waves(change), shark teeth (adaptability, protection), spear heads (strength, courage).

The body is made of a stylized traditional lizard (good luck, communication with the gods) and the wing was connected to the body by a koru, nicely visible to enforce the meaning of the phoenix.
