Tattoos have been around for longer than men can tell, and they will probably hang around as long as man does.
Tattoos are in contemporary cultures mostly aestethical, but they originally served as a protection against evil, as empowering charms, and as a symbol of courage and belonging.
GiErre (aka Roberto Gemori) likes to create designs that merge old and new, where different cultures can blend together to embrace the whole world.
Whenever he is not designing, he write books about Polynesian tattoos to shed some light on this ancient form of art.
