This design was not prepared for a tattoo (the level of detail makes it impossible) but to decorate a surf board with Polynesian elements.

The hammerhead shark and manta swimming below the sun symbolize sociality and tenacity, freedom and joy, while the tiki in the center of the sun is giving protection from above.

Other elements symbolize good luck, adaptability, abundance and prosperity, friendship and family.
