The tree of life gets often represented with its roots and branches intertwined. This symbolizes that trees are like a bridge between earth and sky, between spiritual and material world.
Stars symbolize here two people bond by a strong friendship, and who will keep being friends even if faraway.

I got this on the back of my left shoulder the Friday after my 18th birthday this past September. It holds a lot of meaning to me as an Irish woman, and I´ve gotten many, many compliments on it. It´s a beautiful design and honors the symbol and meaning wonderfully. I love it! :)

I think that this should be my first tattoo. I am looking to have on on my left foot, my right shoulder blade, one on both my hips, one down my left side of my torso(maybe), and one on the inside of my right arm. I love tattoos and believe that our body is our canvas and was made to make a mirral.
