DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:
Even if this design was added to the European section, actually it is native of several cultures all around the world, from Ireland to Borneo.
The meaning associated to it is that of balance and balancing of opposite powers, very similar to the yin and yang concept.
We used a Maori styled waves motif for the second version to emphasize the idea of cyclicity and eternal return.
