DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:
This design for the forearm was requested by Peter and speaks about the important things in his life.
The name of his son Danito appears as a maorigram right in the middle, connected to the sun which symbolizes life and eternity, to signify his importance.
The tiki is a symbol of protection watching over him and fish hooks are a wish for prosperity.
The other elements regard Peter and his travels: the shark is a symbol of adaptability and strength, the manta and the bird symbolize freedom, travels, and watching the world from different points of view. The motifs surrounding the arm on the sides of the sun are traditional from some countries Peter visited, such as Fiji, Philippines and Tanzania.
The lizard is featured as a symbol of good luck and the hammerhead shark motif stands for determination and tenacity.
