DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:
The general shape comes from a turtle, symbolizing family, and baing strongly related to the sea. We made it using a twist (eternal love and union, two lives which, even if separated at times, perhaps due to travels, will always get back together in the end); the head includes a spiral, a symbol used to represent the sun (eternity, joy).
Inside this bond, on the shell, the flax leaves symbolize family union and the spot just below them represents its importance (the standing stone, the personal happy island), and over the flax we placed a maorigram of the letters M and C.
The front flippers are tiki to protect the family from every side, with fish hooks (prosperity and wealth).
The back flippers are two seashells (love, intimacy and safe shelter).
