DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:
This armband was requested by Andrea and it includes some symbolic animals between two maorigrams.
The upper one quotes "FABER EST SUAE QUISQUE FORTUNAE" from latin, meaning "every man is the artisan of his own fortune", whilst the lower one, mirrored, says "MEMENTO AUDERE SEMPER" which means "remember always to dare".
The animals incorporated are an eagle (freedom and royalty) protected by a wolf on the left and a coyote on the right, a frog (fertility, new life and rebirth), whose body is made of a fish hook (wealth and prosperity) and a turtle (family, traveller) with the body made of a twist (eternal union and love) enclosing a koru (new life).
