DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:
Andrea requested this simple Polynesian styled scorpion tattoo to represent the bond he shares with his brother and sister (the A, L and I letters placed as maorigrams in the body of the scorpion).
The two claws are an octopus tentacle (adaptability, tenacity) and a bass clef (the music that unites them) shaped by a koru (life) while the tail is made of spear heads (warrior, protection) shaping a fish hook (prosperity).
In the middle, the hammerhead shark motif linking the letters represents their father (strength, tenacity).
Shark teeth on the side symbolize protection.
