DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:

The three turtles of this Polynesian tattoo represent Nicole followed by her daughters.

The mother is on top, with a hammerhead shark and a lizard shaping the shell.
The left front flipper has two chasing birds to symbolize help always granted to the loved ones while the moray eel on the right flipper represents adversities won with tenacity (the hammerhead shark). The lizard is for good luck and health.

All of the three turtles share similar back flippers to represent they are part of the same family: a sea shell on the left (love and intimacy, safe shelter) and a tiki hand on the right (protection).

Her daughters´ turtles include the initials of their names.
The bigger one includes a flower of hibiscus for beauty and love, and two tiki on the front flippers for protection.
The smallest turtle has a hammerhead shark symbol for tenacity with a sun surrounding it for joy.
The shell and the front flippers together shape a frigate bird for freedom.
