This Maori styled star includes a turtle on the inside, with the face of a tiki being the shell. The meanig of this design is family being the center (the star is the standing point always present, the goal to be reached, and the turtle symbolizes family); the tiki is a symbol of fertility and protection, and the stylized fish hooks on the upper points are symbols of abundance and wealth.
