DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:
Adinkra symbols are primarily used by the Ashanti and Baoule tribes and are original of Ghana.
They have a decorative function and have been used prominently on fabrics, as well as for house decoration and on art objects and daily items, but they also encapsulate evocative messages related to traditional wisdom, to the environment, and to different aspects of life.
The Nkonsonkonson symbol shown here represents a chain link and it is perfect as a brotherhood tattoo.
