DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:

The sun has always been associated to life  from ancient times, and many myths hold the fall of the sun as the end of life.

It was often represented by a circle, and a dot in its centre represented earth, symbolizing thus the union between male and female, and fertility.

The concentric spirals in the middle of this design recal the Borneo rosette, a symbol of courage, another meaning that has often been associated to the sun.

This sun design was requested by Danilo.
