This Polynesian tattoo designed for the shoulder follows the lines of the muscles recalling the shape of a seashell as a symbol of intimacy, love, and prosperity.
We placed a gecko as the central element, being a symbol of health
and good luck, and added a turtle on a side as a symbol of family.
Within the turtle shell, the two Adinkra symbols represent precious
treasure and adoration, while the braid is a symbol of union.
The koru is a symbol of life, mountains symbolize stability, and shark teeth adaptability and protection.
