DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:

The caterpillar turns into a chrysalis and in some time becomes a butterfly. This slow transformation process that allows the butterfly to break her bonds with the earth to freely fly in the air, made it become a symbol of transformation and rebirth, and freedom too.
