DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:
Ricardo requested this Polynesian styled redesign of the Japanese kanji representing "love".
The lower part of this tattoo is a stylized hammerhead shark, as love requires tenacity and sometimes adaptability and strength (the shark teeth below the birds on top).
It´s often a difficult path (the path of Kamehameha below the shark teeth) but it leads to joy and eternity (the sun) and can set us free (the birds on top).
A fish hook was added as it also represents "matching".
