Iho represents the heart, the essence, in this case that of Alberto who requested this half sleeve tattoo extending onto pec and shoulder blade.

The turtle on the pec represents his family and his children, with the ani ata motif symbolizing his ancestors and joining his old and new families.
The hammerhead shark is Alberto and it represents the tenacity to fight for one´s beliefs overcoming any difficulty (also embodied by the centipede on top), with respect and helping the people who go along this path with us.

The all seeing eye, the tikis and the healer´s hand are all symbols of protection and health, joined by symbols of prosperity (the fish), freedom (the manta) and by the octopus recalling the union of the elements through the use of symbols like birds, mountains, waves and koru.
