DESCRIPTION AND MEANING:

The warrior mask represents ancestors, tradition and courage, and the eyes placed on the turtle´s sides want to represent here ancestors guarding the family, as guardian angels (the te manaias just below). The lower twist symbolizes true love, and tikis are meant for protection.

Adult ferns symbolize maturity, wisdom, and we placed some of them on the top to symbolize that maturity is reached with other people, through true friendships, not alone.

The all-seeing eye, often tattooed behind the calf, is a symbol of protection and it was used to scare enemies.
