Several meanings have often been associated to the scorpion, apart from representing the star sign, and the most common one is undoubtedly "danger".
Another meaning related to scorpions is "passion" (the effects of a scorpion sting in Indian tradition are considered similar to those of passion: tremors, feverish state, pain if not corresponded).
