Design Story
This Polynesian styled tattoo of four small turtles represents
Brandon's family.
All turtles have tiki hands for protection, and the head is the
same for all as a common trait to represent the same family.
His father's one has the tiki on the shell symbolizing the protector, spearheads for the warrior and fish hook for prosperity.
His mother's turtle has a hand drawn flower, the lōkahi, mountains, and waves.
His sister has a butterfly, and the manulua symbol (blessing, prosperity) next to the koru.
His little brother is the enata inside the sun in the smallest turtle, with opposing waves on the front flippers to symbolize adversities before birth.
