Design Story
This manaia tattoo was requested by Antonio and it symbolizes protection to his baby, whose name Alita was placed into the body as a maorigram.
The spiral is a symbol of eternity and the double spiral is for meeting and union.
The adze is a symbol of operosity, strength and teaching while shark teeth and hammerhead shark motifs ymbolize adaptability, tenacity and strength.
