Design Story

This armband was designed for Michele´s forearm, and includes in the middle the eagle from the frieze of the Italian Alpine soldiers, to remember his father who belonged to them.

The eagle symbolizes freedom and power and the korus on her wings mark this new beginning; the manaia on her right is a guardian angel, his father watching over him, and the fish hook on the other side is a wish for wealth.

All these are enclosed inside a sun to symbolize that this bond will last forever and it will be a guide to Michelefor the rest of his life. The tikis and ferns at the meeting edges are symbolize protection and life reaching its fullness.
