Design Story

This feminine tattoo for the shoulder was designed for Barbara.
The hibiscus in the center is in colors to symbolize the colorful beauty of life, with a hummingbird sipping from it to symbolizes taking the best of every moment, living life fully.
It is central to show the importance of this.
The two koru represent her children, the sun around is a symbol of eternity and joy, and the braid of union.

The manta represents freedom and beauty, and the gecko is a protector that allows communication with the world of the spirits.

The waves that shape a bigger koru symbolize change, and the stepping stones at the base symbolize achievements and stability.

The path of knowledge leads to the lokahi on top, the union between people, nature, and spirits, the frigate birds, and the jellyfish for flowing with life.
Spearheads and shark teeth represent the warrior, strength and adaptability to follow this path, and the hummingbird includes a tiki looking back for protection.
