Design Story

This band tattoo was designed for Mauro's forearm.

It represents the tenacity to face all difficulties (the hammerhead shark along Kamehameha's path), together with his family (the turtle) to reach his freedom (the manta), joy and success (the sun containing it).

The row of birds closing the upper edge represents this voyage, fish are for prosperity and the row of shark teeth at the bottom is for protection and adaptability.
The all seeing eye inside the manta is another protection symbol.
