Design Story

This feminine tattoo prepared for Stephanie´s arm is ideally divided into three parts representing her past, present, and future.

There are 5 people on top representing someone she lost, with birds next to them symbolizing their voyage to join the ancestors and braids to symbolize the bond shared with them.

The flower of tiare symbolizes beauty and harmony, and the row of birds below, with one bird flying in a different direction, is to symbolize choosing one´s own direction, facing the challenges of the path of Kamehameha with tenacity and adaptability (the octopus tentacle and shark teeth).

Fish represent prosperity and the fish hook includes a couple and the breath of life to symbolize a new life together.
Flax leaves and a small turtle are for family unity while spearheads and the hammerhead shark motif symbolize strength, tenacity, and determination for the future.
