Design Story

This short sleeve symbolizes the path made by Leonardo, the change (waves) from a dark period (represented by the clouds motif) with hardships (mooray eels) back to the sun, and to prosperity and wealth (sugar canes and fish hooks).

Central importance has family (the turtle), protected by the tiki, and the warrior symbolizes the courage and will that made them face and overcome every obstacle.

The koru (fern bud) and mangopare (hammerhead shark) motifs represent this rebirth and the determination that led to it.
