Ankh - Egyptian cross

Eternal life, afterworld |February 09, 2008
by: GiErre

Design Story

The Ankh, or Egyptian cross, represents eternal life, and is often associated to the sun and especially to water, which was to Egyptians the very source of life, as they depended on the Nile for their harvests.

It was often depicted along with two other ideograms, Djed and Was, which mean strength and stability.
