Design Story
This tattoo takes inspiration from the hand of Buddha holding a lotus flower and it represents overcoming all adversities.
The hand has a spiral on its palm to represent the hand of the healer and it symbolizes enlightenment and cure.
The lotus flower symbolizes overcoming difficulties, pureness and beauty as it blooms high above the muddy waters where it is born.
Two stylized stars and a crescent moon that almost shape a bracelet were used to represent the family of Elizabeth, who requested this tattoo.
