Design Story

This backpiece tattoo with Polynesian influences and realistic color parts was prepared for Ellen to cover an old tribal design she had on her lower back.

The turtle was added to represent family as a very important part of her life, and the elements in and around her symbolize specific people that are closer to her.

The main elements are the two frangipani flowers, three plumerias, and a leopard shark.
