Butterflies symbolize transformation and freedom, and they are a delicate and feminine symbol, chosen in this case by Ornella to represent the bond between two friends.
This butterfly with spread wings is made up by two side butterflies, each of them enclosing the headletter of one of the two friends, O and F, and it will be inked on its own.
