Cover-up

Aim at the stars |May 03, 2009

Design Story

This tattoo was requested by Paolo to cover an old one, and to contain a shark (strength and adaptability) and planets, as a symbol of his will to always aim high.

The shark moves through koru-made waves to symbolize the strength needed to go on through changes and new beginnings, and the fern that grows to reach the planets symbolizes maturity and it is a wish for changes always to be positive on the way to targeted goals. The over stylized manta in the shark´s body is a symbol of freedom and protection.
