Design Story
Defqon.1 is an annual music festival with sets that play mostly hardstyle and related genres such as rawstyle, hardcore, early and classic.
We prepared this design encircling the Defqon.1 logo for Alessandro, to be printed on the t-shirt he will wear at the festival.
The circle of people around the logo represents people from all paths
of life joining together to attend the event and listen to the
performers on top.
Braids symbolize union and spearheads warriors, with a tropic bird on
top to symbolize direction and a fish at the bottom for sharing.
The outer circle includes symbols of protection (lizard, shark teeth, tiki hands and eyes) and continuous change (waves)
A second design for colored t-shirts was prepared with a central tiki
holding the Defqon.1 logo:
