In the myths of many peoples dragoflies are magical creatures, which imprison the colours of the rainbow in their wings and possess the gift of transformation.
As nymphs they live in the water, and as adults they fly in the sky and over earth.
Hagar requested this dragonfly that forms her family name, Shapira.
