The sun symbolizes life, eternity, and thus including the firts letter of two names inside a sun has the value in this case of saying that those two people represent the whole life to Silvia, who requested this design.

Hi GiErre!!! It's BEAUTIFUL, I also prefer the first one; in fact I have to decide carefully where to do it, I'd like it on my ankle but on the right one I already have a small tattoo... I don't know... For now I really thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
