Design Story
This Polynesian armband tattoo was prepared for James and it includes two latin phrases as maorigrams, above and below the central part: FACTA, NON VERBA and NON DUCOR, DUCO.
The central part includes three animals designed in Polynesian style
to match the rest of the tattoo: an elephant, a gorilla, and lion.
We closed the
band with shark teeth (strength and protection) on top, and with octopus
tentacles (tenacity and adaptability) along the lower edge.
The all-seeing eye between the elephant and the gorilla protects from enemies, and the sun around it is a symbol of eternity and joy.
