Design Story

The main elements of this half sleeve tattoo are the turtle in the center of the shoulder and the hammerhead shark below it.

The turtle represents the family of Mojmir (the hammerhead shark protecting it, symbol of the warrior and of tenacity), with two enata in the center representing him and his wife and two on their sides representing their children.
The two tiki on the front flippers are for protection from all sides.

There“s a lizard between the turtle and the hammerhead shark to guarantee health to them both.

The all-seeing eye on the back guards them from evil and the Marquesan cross on the front represents harmony and success.

The standing stones on the inside of the arm symbolize achievements and things learnt.
