Design Story

The turtle for family in the center of this tattoo prepared for Aaron contains the symbol of the couple for him and his wife, with their three children below, all surrounded by a braid for family union.
The tiki on the front flippers protect family from all sides and the sun around them symbolizes joy and eternity (coconut leaves are for prosperity).

The lizard below the turtle is to bring good luck while the hammerhead shark is a symbol of tenacity against adversities (the path of Kamehameha) in their voyage to reach unity and harmony (the Marquesan cross in the shark head).
The standing stones below represent the achievements and knowledge obtained along the way.
