Design Story

The double koru in the center of this Polynesian turtle tattoo symbolizes a new born, central, with a stylized seashell incorporated for intimacy and safe shelter.

The motifs below it represent the parents guiding him along the way and nurturing his achievements (the stepping stones), while the sun around the top symbolizes happiness. and the star the fixed point to return to after every voyage (the birds).

The spearheads and the hammerhead shark symbolize strength, tenacity, and the warrior protecting family and bringing prosperity (the fish hook).

The tiki eye, the tiki, and the lizard are for protection and good luck, while braid and ritorito symbolize family unity, with the initials A and D disguised in the latter.

This tattoo was prepared for Luca to celebrate the birth of his son.
