Fern bud

Design Story

This tattoo is shaped like a fern bud to represent a new beginning, life starting again after a difficult period (the morey eel).

The row of spear heads symbolizes the warrior, courage and strength, and it marks the path that, from the moray eel, develops along the swirl of the bud to reach happyness again (the sun) bringing freedom and wisdom (the manta).

A lizards and a tiki eye represent protection and good luck while a fish hook is symbolic for prosperity.
