Design Story

The big wave (change) crossing this tattoo requested by April shapes a koru symbolizing a new beginning, a new life.

An adze (creativity) and a tiki shape the right front flipper of the turtle while a canoe is inside the left front flipper (discovery).

The back flippers are a fish hook (prosperity) and a kava leaf (blessing); the braid shapes the shell and incorporates a triple twist (travel, meeting of cultures).

The sun is for positivity, life, and it incorporates a gecko for health.
