Design Story

This half sleeve and pec tattoo requested by Alessio tells about a journey, a change taking him from past to future.

In the back of the half sleeve part (the past) the moray and a path of Kamehameha represent difficulties.
The hammerhead shark represents the warrior who breaks the path and goes beyond it, towards a new freedom represented by the manta.
The tiki in its center guards upon this transition between past and future, on the pec close to the heart where the turtle symbolizes family union, with symbols for balance, joy and prosperity and with the letters A and J inserted as maorigrams in the front fins.
