Design Story

This Polynesian turtle tattoo was designed for Jamie and it symbolizes family and the navigator, with two tiki on the front flippers to bring them protection from all sides.
The flippers also have fish hooks for prosperity.

The head of the turtle is a bird symbolizing watching the world from a higher perspective, with a manta below it for freedom.
The tiki hands in it are for protection and the tail of the manta is a spearhead to represent the warrior protecting family, represented by the couple in the middle of the shell with their three children.
The braids joining them all together are a symbol of family unity.
