Design Story

This sea turtle, symbolizing the voyager, is made of Maori and Samoan inspired motifs, and the inner triple twist design itself is a Maori symbol that represents the meeting of two different cultures, the union of two peoples. Stylized shark teeth symbolize strength and adaptability.

Frangipanis, the flowers inside this design, are typical in tropical areas, and particularly on the Pacific islands, and they mean shelter, protection.
