Design Story

Sara requested this tattoo shaped to resemble a whale shark, with several different marine creatures incorporated in of it:
the side fins are also the wings of a manta, whose body blends with that of the turtle inside of it.
The shell of the turtle is a manaia (the guardian spirit).

The sun appears both in front of the manta and behind it (where it becomes the back leg of a lizard) and we placed the path of knowledge and a ti leaf in the tail against adversities (the stylized moray eel).
