Design Story

Manue requested these starfish tattoos to represent her two children and possibly a third one.

We placed a koru in each of them since korus symbolize new life and growth, new beginning and children.
The bigger and medium ones allowed for more symbols and they share a seashell, which is a symbol for love, intimacy and safe shelter.
The biggest one also has a fish hook for prosperity and a hammerhead shark motif (tenacity and strength, family).
