Design Story

This extended half sleeve tattoo requested by Angelos is about his life and what´s most important in it, family and passions.

Family is central and it´s represented by the turtle swimming towards the future, protected by a tiki and by the all-seeing eye, while spear heads forming the front flippers represent the warrior.
The braid on the edge of the shell symbolizes unity inside the family.

Among passions, manta and birds symbolize voyages, which led them watching the world from a higher perspective while discovering new cultures (the triple twist on the right next to the lizard for good luck and the mere for respect and loyalty).
A stylized soccer ball on the left represents his passion for this sport while the motif inside the sun near the pec (made of coconut leaves for prosperity) was designed to recall the diaphragm of a camera, with a Marquesan cross inside for harmony and balance between passion and work.

A row of enata represents friends, always present, while a shark and some waves are for his passion for water and diving.
